| HEC is owned and operated by Adrienne Collier and Harold E. Cooke. Adrienne and Hal are attorneys and licensed real estate brokers with extensive experience in real estate in New York.
He spent 17 years on Wall Street as an investment banker at Credit Suisse First Boston and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette primarily in real estate finance. Subsequently, he joined Crown NorthCorp, a publicly traded real estate advisory firm that managed highly leveraged real estate transactions for Wall Street clientele. It was at Crown that he gained valuable operating experience. As President and Chief Operating Officer he led and restructured the firm. From 2000-2002, Mr. Cooke was a Senior Vice President in the real estate group of Harbert Management Corporation, a Birmingham, Alabama based merchant bank. At Harbert, he gained significant experience in the real estate investment fund business. Mr. Cooke is a graduate of Harvard Law School. He has a B.A. in Anthropology from Binghamton University and a Masters of Philosophy in Anthropology from Yale University. After graduating from law school, Mr. Cooke practiced law at the New York City law firm of Debevoise & Plimpton. Ms. Collier has dedicated most of her legal career to public service advocacy as a Litigation Staff Attorney at Greater Boston Legal Services, Deputy General Counsel at the New York City Department of Consumer Affairs and Assistant Attorney General in the Office of the New York State Attorney General. She continues to provide legal advice and assistance to low-and moderate-income New Yorkers through pro bono programs sponsored by the NYS Civil Court through its Volunteer Lawyers Program and Attorney Emeritus Program. She is also actively involved with the Brooklyn Bar Association Volunteer Lawyers Project, Inc. in the Foreclosure Intervention program. Ms. Collier is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the property management company. She is a licensed attorney in New York, Connecticut and the District of Columbia. She is a graduate of the University of Connecticut Law School and has a B.A. from Binghamton University. |
