HEC Real Estate Group, LLC manages third party cooperatives, condominiums and rentals, as well as properties in its portfolio. Since 2002 it has managed approximately 2,000 residential units and 40 commercial units in Brooklyn, the Bronx, Manhattan, Rockland County and Bridgeport, Connecticut. Its staff is experienced with managing tenants and compliance in Low Income Housing Tax Credit properties. With its experience in extensive rehabilitation and repair of occupied multi-family buildings, HEC is the court appointed 7A Administrator for several properties in New York City. Through its financial and operational skill set, HEC has also been able to do "turnarounds" of large multi-family buildings.
Chauncey Development, LLC acquires and develops properties. In December 2003 Chauncey Development was awarded a group of buildings under the New York City Neighborhood Entrepreneurs Program ("NEP") known as the "8th Avenue Cluster" in Central Harlem. This cluster consists of seven buildings totaling 101 residential units and 12 commercial units also know as "The Odessa Apartments, LLC."
HEC Maintenance, LLC provides general contracting services for HEC managed and owned properties. As a part of its services, HEC Maintenance has done interior painting, carpentry, sheet rocking, plumbing and bathroom and kitchen renovations. It maintained a crew of six tradesmen.
